Career Mentorship & Private Practice Incubator
A step-by-step approach to building a private practice that works—for you.
This program is designed as a progressive mentorship series for psychologists who want structured, real-world support as they start or evolve their private practice. Each phase builds on the one before it—starting with clarity, moving into launch, and continuing through long-term sustainability.
You can move through the full series or begin at the stage that fits your current needs. All levels are designed to align with Dr. Schofield’s Group Consultation & Mentorship Circle for ongoing community support.

This program is designed for licensed psychologists (or soon-to-be licensed) who are starting or restructuring a private practice and want clear, strategic support. Whether you're transitioning from institutional work or looking to build more alignment in your current practice, you’re welcome here.
-
Not at all. While the program is structured as a progression, you can start at any phase depending on your needs. Some people begin with Grow because they’re already in practice; others move through all three stages over time.
-
This mentorship is more structured and focused on building or refining your practice. It includes direct guidance around business setup, systems, marketing, and strategy. The Group Consultation Circle is an ongoing peer-based space for case consultation, skill-building, and community. Many clinicians do both—using the mentorship to build, and the group to sustain.
-
Psychologists in Coastal VA are welcome to meet 1:1 in person as desired. Meetings are held virtually. Depending on the level you choose, you’ll meet one-on-one with Dr. Schofield or join a small cohort. Between-session email support and planning tools may be included as part of your package.
-
Pricing varies depending on the phase and number of meetings. Packages start around $375 for Clarify, $750–$900 for Build, and $200/session for Grow. A full pricing breakdown is provided when you express interest.
